cookie sheets

I recently stumbled upon this tutorial about EASILY cleaning your cookie sheets via One Good Thing.

Check out her before and after:

I decided to try this for myself.

I got out my cookie sheets

Got out my baking soda and Hydrogen Peroxide and made the paste

Add the mixture to the pans

and wait…. (I waited 3 hours)

Start scraping

and nothing! While the pans no longer feel sticky at all, they still look and are dirty. I’m so disappointed.

I guess I will have to find something else to try for these pans. Any ideas?

  1. Grandma says:

Steel wool pads are pretty good. Sweet potato dripped in my oven. I had some Stanley decreased, full strength, sprayed some on and let it set for while, wiped it right up, then went all oven with Steelrwood with very good results. Wool that is. Try the dawn ultra for grease relief. And then scrub . Also I found out that I love Mr. Clean erasers in the bathroom. So easy.

She says Dr. Bronner’s and some elbow grease works :)
