If you remember this post, you will remember that my awesome dad help me add a leaf to extended my antique dining table.
I have finally got around to painting the leaf and I want to share!
The table leaf was made by my dad from an old piece of wood and some trim he cut to match the existing table trim.
I LOVE the rustic look of the green but unfortunately it does not match anything else in my home-also the trim needs painted or stained regardless.
So I decided to try chalkboard paint for the leaf-I thought it might be fun and would add an element of whimsy to the room.
So I followed the instructions on the paint pail and this is the result.
I haven’t decided if I like this look or not-you guys want to weigh in?
