I recently discovered Olioboard, a home decor/design mood board host.
If you haven’t heard of mood board here is a short explanation via Wikipedia: A mood board is a type of poster design that may consist of images, text, and samples of objects in a composition of the choice of the mood board creator. Designers and others use mood boards to develop their design concepts and to communicate to other members of the design team.
Here are a few awesome examples:
Aren’t these beautiful?
So, I made my first mood board and I’m going to share it with you guys :)
I made a mood board for my guest room-This is how I would decorate it if money was no object.
One of the great things about mood boards are that they tell you where you can purchase each item used. All of the ones I used for this mood board are from Etsy.
Olioboard is so easy to use, you can use install a button to add any photo to your library (much like Pinterest). You simple click to create a new board, name it, and start dragging. All the prompts are at the top and this is totally self-explanatory.
Go try it! and let me know how it goes. Have fun!
