The Little Red Owl

DIY ideas for home, health, & life

I have had problems with tangles in my hair ever since I was a little girl.

Now that my hair is long, I am having to deal with tangles again.

Since I am on a strict budget I do not want to spend the $2.50 for even a cheap product. Here is my effective, super simple solution:

DIY detangler:

1 part conditioner

3 parts distilled water

combine ingredients in a spray bottle (mine is misting)

shake before use

that’s all!

This works like a charm and was essentially free!

do you have any free, DIY tips?

What are your reviews after using this for a while? Does it make your hair greasy?

    1. Amy says:

I have not noticed any greasiness in my hair. it is very diluted and i don’t need to use much.

  2. Grandma says:

Yes, I do. I didn’t throw away my Clorox pen. Instead I made my own. In a measuring cup add water and just a small amount of clorox, mix and let the pen suck it up. Works great.
