How do you celebrate Groundhog Day?

Here at the LittleRedOwl household-we go all out. We are involved in an annual party, we bust up a groundhog pinata, we drink groundhog’s blood (a homemade drink that I assure is not really blood), eat bratwurst and sauerkraut, we sing the groundhog song, we watch the movie (starring the infamous Bill Murray), and have general merriment-It is a blast.

Last year along with some good friends we were able to visit Punxsutawney PA at Gobbler’s Knob for all the festivities. It was truly an experience.

We noticed today that Husband is in one of the photos on the front page of the Groundhog.org website! How exciting!

So however you spend your Groundhog Day-I hope it is wonderful and memorable.
